A-Trak & Tommy Trash could have taken several routes with the music video for their 2012 collaboration, “Tuna Melt”. They could’ve put together a bunch of stereotypical party clips into a rave-y video that matched the track’s upbeat vibe or maybe just filmed themselves eating tuna melts in exotic locations. Either way, we probably would’ve been pretty satisfied. Instead, they decided to outdo all expectations with an OK Go-inspired music video directed by Ryan Staake that starts with a toppled domino and ends with a tuna melt. Slices of bread, feathers, a toy submarine, and other household objects get involved as well. It’s awesome.
Plenty of uptight Youtube commenters were quick to point out some obvious jump cuts that reveal this didn’t all happen in one take, but it’s pretty damn entertaining nonetheless. Watch below!
